What happened in Tucson to congresswoman Gifford and the other innocent people is a tragedy that has caused so much harm and sadness to many.
Is it a measure of the times we live in that we cant have mutual respect for those that have a different political view than we hold?
There have been many fingers pointing at who is responsible for causing Jared Loughner to do what he did. Maybe we need to get back to the old days of when we were simply fully responsible for our own actions ... period.
Loughner continues to sit in a cell with a smirk on his face not cooperating with authorities. There could be justice and closure.
With the media in Tucson, at the area at which he did this, find a tall tree and a short rope. Smirk gone and justice served.
