SYRACUSE — Timothy Lantz, 60, Syracuse, passed away Dec. 17, 2017, at his home.
He was born Oct. 13, 1957, in Goshen, to Charles and Rosemary Hummell Lantz.
Tim was an enthusiast of cars, snowmobiles and boats. He and his late brother Greg enjoyed racing together their whole lives.
Tim was employed by Commodore Homes, Goshen.
He is survived by his niece, Jamie (Ben) Parish, Howe; two stepdaughters, Chastity Brickey, Syracuse, and Christina (Shane) Barhydt, Ligonier; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his uncle, Bob Lantz, Syracuse; and his cousin, Mike (Ausra) Lantz, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
He was preceded by his wife, Janice Lantz; his mother, Rosie Lantz; and his brother, Greg Lantz.
His father, Charlie Lantz, died Dec. 23, 2017.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier, where Tim will be laid to rest beside his wife, Janice.
Calling will be two hours prior to the service, from noon until 2 p.m.
