Lackey. Lapdog. Idolater. Sycophant. All these words come to mind when I think of the three men who speak for me in Washington, D.C.
Has there ever been a more servile trio than Rep. Jim Banks and Sens. Todd Young and Mike Braun? Why do these men blindly follow a president who appears to be short on common sense and long on bravado?
Jim Bank’s words and actions are particularly troubling. Given his military experience, one would think he would be skeptical of the reckless moves our president makes on the international scene. Trump’s spontaneous actions continue to put our nation’s armed forces in harm’s way.
I pray that some day one of these men will stand up to the president and say, “Enough already.”
