Three Arrested In Alleged Conspiracy To Commit Robbery

Three men are facing charges for conspiracy to commit robbery after being arrested Tuesday morning, according to a news release from Warsaw Police Department.
Police arrested David Mefford, 19, South Whitley; Jeffery Walker, 22, South Whitley; and Nathan Dollar, 18, Columbia City. They are all charged with conspiracy to commit a robbery.
A witness called police at about 1:25 a.m. and said three men jumped out of a car with guns in the 400 block of South Columbia Street. They then got back into the vehicle.
Warsaw police located the vehicle around the 1900 block of East Center Street and made a traffic stop.
Dollar was driving the vehicle and Mefford and Walker were passengers.
Police located an assault rifle, tire iron and crowbar in the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
After interviewing the men, police determined the men had intended to commit a robbery in the vicinity.
All three men are in the Kosciusko County Jail on a prosectorial hold. Each man’s bond was set at $20,250.
The incident is still under investigation by the Warsaw Police Department.
