The most tragic victims of wars are those that didn't realize they were in the middle of wars. We have been inflicted with wars both clear and secret for decades.
One of the secret wars that has become a little more evident is the trade war Trump is waging. There is a radio commercial about the tariffs on farm products. The spokesman says he didn't sign on for the war. In reality, he's been a victim of the tariff war for years. Canada charges tariffs on milk and other farm products and our government is now retaliating. Since Trump became president, markets have opened for American farm products and even though the Chinese will have to pay more for what we export to them, many will not stop buying our products because they are more expensive. And if South America can't grow enough soybeans for Chinese export, we will make up the difference.
We were at war with radical Muslims long before 9/11. Since before the Crusades, the goal of Muslims has been complete control of the world. If Islam were truly a religion of peace, why aren't jihadists strongly condemned and punished? Obama didn't want to hinder our Islamic enemies by rightly opposing what they wanted to do. Sure, we have been fighting against Islamic fighters for years in the Middle East. But the latest rescue of children in New Mexico from the control of radical Muslims, which has prevented a number of school shootings, was misreported by the lamestream media that it was only a rescue of children and not a rescue from radical Islamists.
The war against Russia in the media and government has been fought by double agents that might not realize they are useful idiots. Celebrities that support the known criminal, Hillary Clinton, think it is their patriotic duty to condemn President Trump. They think that Trump is president due to Russian collusion. If that were the case, why has he gone against Putin so often? They may want to blame Russia everytime a Democrat loses an election. In Ohio and other places around the nation, "voters" that have been dead for years are still on the voter rolls. I guess you could call them "deadocrats." The chaos that we are experiencing is exactly what the Russians want. If the Democrats take over in January, Putin's smile might be wider than that of the Joker. I wouldn't blame him for his glee because enough people would have done what he wanted.
The wars against prenatal extermination, international invaders, criminals, ignorance and socialism-created poverty are supposed to be fought because if we lose, America will be lost.
