Well, Mr. Sanders, maybe you didn't read all of my letter. I voted Independent and proud of it. I think both sides are nothing but a bunch of crooks.
And where was I during the Bush administration? Sitting on my lazy haunches the same as every one else, doing nothing and saying nothing like everyone else, hoping that someone would stand up and straighten these things out. Obviously, that didn't happen so are we supposed to keep our mouths shut for the next 10 presidential terms and let them do whatever it is they want?
Some day someone is finally going to have to say stop, and it looks like the time is now. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to be off work for several years until we "see" if maybe Obama's "policies" will work while he continues to spend us into oblivion.
I am not for giving all the illegals all the benefits that our American citizens should have cause they paid for it. I am not against paying taxes for the things we need and I am not against Obama. I am, however, against his spending every dime this country has or will have for the next 20 years.
You think it's fair that all these illegals can go to the emergency room and get free care for every danged thing they need, but let an American citizen go and not pay his bill and see how long it is before they have to file bankruptcy because they can't pay that bill?
There are so many injustices in this country a person couldn't begin to list them all but we have to start somewhere and now we are finally trying. I don't care what party is in (though I pray some day it's an Independent for a change), it's time to tell them to stop. I just hope that I am not one of the unfortunate ones that ends up on the welfare line someday cause they have shipped all the jobs overseas. But if that day ever comes, I won't feel guilty cause I paid one heck of a lot of taxes in my day and I earned that right a heck of a lot more than any unemployed illegal did.
