Tanya Sue Simmons, 60, of Muskegon, Mich., died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at her mother’s residence in Nappanee. She had been in ill health since February.
Tanya was born Dec. 11, 1957, in Warsaw, to Douglas W. and Vivian “Clete” Blue Rensberger.
On Dec. 12, 1993, she married Jeff Simmons in Nappanee. Tanya grew up in Nappanee and was a graduate of NorthWood High School. She moved to Muskegon in 2002.
Family and friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel, followed by services at 3 pm. Pastor Norm Reimer will officiate. Cremation will follow with inurnment in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
