When you base your actions on lies, don't be surprised when people accuse you of being a liar.
Some of the worst enemies of Democrats and their political future are Democrats. Thanks to powerful opponents of Democrats and a public less willing to believe the lies Democrats like to tell, there might be more Republicans in Congress and the Senate than are there today. If Democrats want to heed some suggestions, they might have a chance of preventing a humiliating defeat in November.
First, stop trying to impeach President Trump all the time. He has not committed any crimes or misdemeanors that deserve that political punishment. I saw the movie “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington,” and Lionel Barrymore tries to prevent Jimmy Stewart from helping average people in his home district. In Washington we have an army of Lionel Barrymores attacking those like Trump who want to help average people. Trump might not be Jimmy Stewart. But he seems more like a regular guy who is trying to do what is right for America.
Try to get along with the president and other Republicans. Hillary lost in 2016. Get over it and move on. One good way to show that you want to help America is to listen to Americans. They wanted Trump to be the president despite the millions more that voted for Hillary. Remember. Most Germans wanted Hitler to control Germany and we know how that turned out. Work with the president and Republicans when it comes to infrastructure projects and reforming health care. Let the wall be built on the Mexican border. If Americans associate Democrats with saying no to what they want, don't expect them to keep voting for Democrats.
Stop going left so much. Democrats are as much the party of the people as North Korea is a democratic republic of the people of Korea. Democrats constantly prove me right that you don't need to be insane to be a liberal, but it helps. Is it sane to support the slaughter of the unborn? Is it sane to impose crushing restrictions on people and the economy? Is it sane to continue ridiculous policies that have never worked? Is it sane to protect criminals and make Americans their victims and attack those that point this out? If going further to the left means going off a cliff, don't expect most Americans to do it.
Lastly, say what you mean and mean what you say. Political speak is too often as clear as mud. If you expect Americans to trust you, prove that you can be trustworthy. If you remain a joke, don't blame me for laughing at you as you cry.
