Sue Wadas, 84, passed away on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at 4:24 a.m. at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw.
Born on Dec. 22, 1940, in Columbia, Ky., Sue was the daughter of Amos and Milda Baker Coomer. She graduated high school and went to do on-the-job training to become a dental assistant. Sue was working as a dental assistant at Fort Knox Army Base in Kentucky when a handsome doctor and soldier caught her eye.
Sue was united in marriage to Dr. Frank Louis Wadas, D.D.S., in Brandenburg, Ky., on Oct. 19, 1969, and they would welcome their daughter, Susan.
Formerly of Goshen, they opened the Dr. Frank L. Wadas, D.D.S. general dentistry practice in Milford. The couple ran it together, Sue as the office manager and dental assistant, until his passing in 2015, serving Milford and surrounding areas for over 45 years.
Sue immensely loved being with her family and friends and enjoyed traveling. She always had a joke to tell and was beyond generous in every way possible. Sue was a Frank Sinatra fan, a huge Notre Dame fan and enjoyed cuddles with her dog and fur child, Mickey. She was blessed with a beautiful voice, was a songwriter and has on YouTube an original song “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Stace) Bechler, of Warsaw, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank; parents; and sisters: Berniece Parrish, Ernestine Morris, Avon Wroble and Patricia Mayfield.
