GOSHEN – Stephen R. Phillips, 25, passed away Nov. 7, 2015, after a lifelong illness. He was born April 15, 1990, in Goshen. Despite his physical condition, he had a high level of mechanical and mathematical intelligence. He enjoyed disassembling and reassembling electronics and completing intricate Lego projects. Until recently, he also enjoyed the outdoors, including canoeing. Surviving are his mother, Dee Ann (and fiance Daniel Cole) White, Syracuse; a brother, Logan Phillips, Syracuse; a grandfather, Dale Neff, Syracuse; an aunt, Karla (and spouse Acel) McDonald, Indianapolis; and an uncle, Jeffery (and spouse Michelle) Krueger, Milford. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dolores Neff. A procession will leave Yoder-Culp Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday to go to Rock Run Cemetery for a 2:30 graveside service, with Pastor David Cripe, New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, officiating.
