NORTH MANCHESTER – The Manchester boys won every event but one, and the Lady Squires were edged by North Miami in a four-way track meet with Caston and Lakeland Christian Academy Monday. Thomas Rohr won both the 1600 and 3200 runs for the Squires, and Caleb Haecker took the long jump and 110 hurdles. Others winning events were Heath Dierks in the discus, Isaiah Dans in the high jump, Matthew Pegg in the shot put, Joshua Shepherd in the 100, Montgomery Pattison in the 300 hurdles, Jon Rich in the 800, and Elisel Guerrero in the 200. The Squires won all three relay races. Bailey Sewell was a double winner, taking the shot put and discus. Rae Bedke also won twice, taking the 400 and 3200. The Lady Squires also won the 4x100 and 4x800 relays. Lakeland Christian’s Melissa Goss won the 800 in 2:46.5. Manchester and LCA will both compete at Whitko April 26.
