Squire Awards Presented Wednesday EveningNORTH MANCHESTER – The athletic department at Manchester High School presented its winter sports awards Wednesday night. In girls basketball, Bailey Sewell was the Rotary Mental Attitude Award winner, and the Squire Award went to Erika Kendall. Other award winners were: Sydney Day, most rebounds and best free throw percentage; Ellie Milam, sixth player award; Kiera Hatfield, junior varsity scoring award; and Kennidy Lauer, J.V. highest field goal percentage. Collin Meggison was the Rotary Mental Attitude Award winner for wresting, and the Squire Award went to Quentin Moore. Others winning awards were Delton Moore, best record; Kevin McIntyre, most improved; Braxtin Wilson, “Squire tough” award; Bryce Kamphues, J.V. wrestler of the year; and Keaton Love, J.V. gladiator award. David McAtee was the Rotary Mental Attitude and Squire Award winner for the boys basketball team. Other award winners were Mason Hamby, most rebounds; Brayden Casper, best defender; Koehl Fluke, best free throw percentage; Spence Trick, J.V. mental attitude award; Isaiah Davis, J.V. most improved; Klay Little, “C”-team most improved; and Justin Self, “C”-team mental attitude award. Cora Barnett won the Rotary Mental Attitude award for the girls swimming team, and Tahnee Fuentes was the Squire Award winner. Katie Barker was most improved, Emma Burlingame the Golden Goggle Award, and Skye Fierstos the Piranha High Point Award. In boys swimming, Luke Donathan won the Rotary Mental Attitude award, and Ben Green was the Squire Award winner. Eric Morales and Alex Newell were the most improved. Jacob Slavkin was the Golden Goggle Award winner, and Parker York was the Piranha High Point Award winner. Saebre’ Barke was the Rotary Mental Attitude award winner for cheerleading, and Charley Lee was the Squire Award winner. Others winning awards were Megan Baxter, choreography; TeriAnn Hall, most improved; Jerry Bauer, best attitude; Taylor McLaughlin, J.V. most improved, and Madison Gatchel, J.V. best base.
