After reading Mr. Badman’s letter to the editor, “Socialism:?A Sad Joke,” I finally understand why women make less money than men. It is called capitalism.
If you were born in the ’50s, ’60s or even the ’70s, the American Dream was still possible. Growing up, we had many opportunities and a better standard of living than our parents.
The American Dream is dead. College debt is higher than credit card debt.
Mr. Badman is forgetting one thing: If the young people with college debt and believing modern capitalism has failed them, young voters will change Congress into their image.
