Editor, Times-Union: On a recent trash day a precious jet black and pure white skunk appeared in our front yard, frantic. Low recycle baskets were out – ours is tall blue with attached black lids. Poor little thing had his head in a jar. Tall cans appear to be OK, but as for low cans could we possibly have lids back on jars and cans for animal safety? Please.
Also, some have wildlife pets who escape cages – a means of identification would sure help very much – collar, tags, etc.
