Shirleen S. Pitts, 62, of Wabash, died at 2:28 p.m. Feb. 10, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born June 4, 1945, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Willie and Katie Marsilette Baldridge. On April 8, 1994, in Wabash, she married Henry Pitts Jr., who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake.
Also surviving are her mother, Katie Speigle, Claypool; two daughters, Maria (and spouse Ed) Stapleton, Silver Lake, and Debra Bradley, Goshen; a son, Lee (and spouse Melissa) Bradley, South Whitley; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Loraine (and spouse Washington) Miller, Homer, Mich., and Barbara (and spouse Pablo) DeLaCruz, Warsaw; and four brothers, Bobby (and spouse Minnie) Baldridge, Claypool, and Ronnie, Andrew and Willie Baldridge, all of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Baldridge; her stepfather, Arthur Speigle; and a brother, Lon Baldridge, who died Sept. 9, 2003.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake, with the Revs. Carl Hughes and Ralph Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is after 4 p.m. today until the time of service Wednesday at the church.
