Sex Charge Filed Against Warsaw ManA Warsaw man faces a felony charge after police allege he had sex with a minor.
Edgar Sanchez, 21, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, lot 206, is facing one charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.
A girl told a counselor at school she had a relationship with an older man. The counselor then contacted police.
The girl told police she was in a house with some friends on July 25.
Her friend’s boyfriend followed her in the bathroom and had sex with her, according to court records.
Police say Sanchez admitted to having sex with the girl, even though he knew she was underage.
Sanchez was arrested on Tuesday and is out on bond.
