Law enforcement Wednesday arrested the second suspect in connection with a North Webster armed robbery. Jesse James Roberson, 19, of 312 W. Crystal Flash Road, #45, North Webster, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Roberson is being held on prosecutorial hold. Roberson had been sought in connection to an armed robbery that took place at a residence in North Webster. Information and anonymous tips obtained throughout the day led officers to 9639 Seneca Lane, Cromwell, shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Chad Hill. Once inside the residence, officers located drug paraphernalia and weapons police believe were stolen from the North Webster residence. Roberson was located inside the home with a chrome handgun in his possession at the time of the actual arrest, according to a news release from KCSD. He was arrested without incident. KCSD detectives stated that the various residents’ tips were instrumental in the location and arrest of Roberson. Police allege Roberson and his accomplice, Daniel Joseph Edgar, 30, Topeka, entered the North Webster home in black clothing and mask, armed with a long gun. The men took several firearms, cash, jewelry and prescription medicine from the home, according to an earlier press release. Edgar was arrested Tuesday after evidence at the scene led police to believe he was involved. As of this morning, Edgar was in the jail on a $50,500 bond.
