Eagles 1339 Charity Golf Scramble was postponed to Oct. 10. Several factors were considered before we made the decision to postpone this event.
We at D&L Management Group LLC would like to publicly apologize for the inconvenience that we may have caused our golfers and sponsors. At the time of the decision, it seemed best for all. At 7 a.m., it was raining and had been most of the night. If we had known that the weather was going to clear up as quickly as it did, we would have not made the decision to postpone this scramble.
Our decision was no reflection on Eagles Aerial 1339 or the Boy Scouts of America (local troop), and we hope you will accept our apology. As a new business in the local area, we will make mistakes, but the safety of the participants in our events is and was our main concern. We will and are trying very hard to make sure that this does not happen again.
Knowing that postponing any event may cause scheduling problems, if you unable to attend the event, D&L Management Group, LLC and the Eagles 1339 will try to sign up golfers for you and reimburse you as other golfers pay to play in the scramble. I am hoping that everyone who has already signed up will be able to attend this event! A positive response will help all parties to regain the trust of the community.
