BREMEN - Sandra L. Landry-Schuh, 70, of Culver, died at 3:37 p.m. April 18, 2008, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.

She was born Feb. 7, 1938, in Harvey, Ill., to Howard and Mary Brazier Hill. In 1956, she married Wayne Landry, who died in 1979. She also was preceded in death by a lifetime companion, Noble Weldy.

She moved to Bass Lake from Illinois in 1969, and also lived in Bremen and Culver. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a guiding light to all who crossed her path. She was a true humanitarian and a friend until the end. She was a devout Christian and very patriotic.

Surviving are three daughters: Susan Lamb, Sidney, Iowa; June (and spouse Jeffrey) MacDonald-Krieg, Culver; and Lorrie (and spouse Todd) Golden, Leesburg; three sons: Wayne (and spouse Sandy) Landry Jr., Knox; Todd (and spouse Laurie) Landry, Silver Lake; and Steven E. Landry, Mishawaka; three sisters; a brother; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Candy Landry-Biddle; four sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Culver.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
