SYRACUSE — Sandra K. "Sandy" Boyer, 78, Syracuse, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
She was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Three Rivers, Mich., to Wendell L. and Melvae Marie Houser Drew.
She graduated from high school in Michigan and lived most of her life in Michigan, Wolcottville, Cromwell and Syracuse areas. She was married on Oct. 15, 1988, in LaGrange, to Kenneth J. “Ken” Hammer, who preceded her in March 1998. On Dec. 15, 2001, she married Marshall G. “Baldy” Boyer Sr., who preceded her on April 11, 2014.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked for the American Legion in Syracuse for 12 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Syracuse.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Teresa Boyer, Syracuse; two stepsons, Marshall (Mary) Boyer Jr., Milford, and Tony (Flora) Boyer, Warsaw; and several stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and son.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. No public services will be held.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
