Sally S. White, 85, Warsaw, passed away at 7:37 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 23, 1932, in Warsaw, to Lawrence L. and Alice Overdeer Siders.
She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw. On March 2, 1952, she was united in marriage to George L. White in Warsaw; he preceded her in death on June 13, 2014.
Sally worked as a personal assistant at Rodeheaver Publishing Co. She was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, as well as the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club and Tri Kappa. In addition, she was a volunteer for United Way and Easter Seals. She was a longtime blood donor and Mobile Meals driver as well.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Valdiserri, Indianapolis; Joyce (spouse John) Wayhart, Wheaton; grandchildren: Kristen, Jenna and Stephen Valdiserri and Kathryn, Jordan and Joseph Wayhart; and great-grandson, George Moorehead.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, William B. Siders, in 1992.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw. The Rev. Canon Richard Kallenberg will officiate the celebration.
Interment will be in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church columbarium, Warsaw.
