NORTH MANCHESTER - Ruth V. Krom, 89, Warsaw, formerly of Indianapolis, died at 9:05 a.m. Dec. 23, 2009, at Gardens at Lake City, Warsaw.
She was born May 14, 1920, in Sullivan County, to Albert R. and Minnie F. Gore Hamilton. On March 27, 1947, she married Dean E. Krom, who died Sept. 11, 2007.
She was an office manager and co-owner with her husband of Dean Krom Co. Inc., Indianapolis, for 30 years. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, Indianapolis. She graduated from Winchester High School in 1939.
Surviving are a half sister, Terri (and spouse Scott) Henthron, Silver Lake. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Krom.
Services and burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Falls Cemetery, Wabash, with Pastor Nikki Marker officiating.
