Ruth L. Ridgway, 101, of Grace Village Assisted Living, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Ruth was born the daughter of William and Bernice Goshert Rush on July 27, 1916, at Olkmulgee, Okla. On Nov. 25, 1937, she married Thurman Ridgway; he preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1992. Ruth enjoyed volunteering and graduated from Mentone High School.
Surviving Ruth is her son, Stephen and Alisa Ridgway of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Hight, Etna Green; two brothers, Don Rush, of Fort Wayne, and Carl Rush, Beaumont, Texas. Preceding in death were her parents; two sisters, Marry Derry and Lena Hoffer; and two brothers, Paul Rush and Earl Rush.
In honoring her wishes there will be no services at this time. Burial will follow at a later date in Mentone Cemetery
