ROCHESTER – Rudolph A. "Rudy" Rom, 96, of Rochester, died at 9:21 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at Wynnfield Crossing, Rochester.
He was born Nov. 30, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., to Bernard and Agnes Stanisa Rom.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
On Aug. 20, 1948, he was married to Lorraine Herodes in Chicago. She died Jan. 19, 2009.
Interment will be in Mount Auburn Memorial Park of Stickney, Ill.
Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, assisted with arrangements.
