NORTH WEBSTER – Roy G. Lewis, 66, of Pierceton, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Dec. 20, 1952, in Hazel Park, Mich., to Glen Allen and Beulah Music Lewis.
He grew up in Kentucky, attended public schools there and moved to the Pierceton area several years ago. He was formerly employed at Ward Aluminum in Fort Wayne and Lewis Salvage in Warsaw.
He is survived by a daughter, Crista (Larry Hapner) Stanbaugh of Claypool; a son, Matt (Nicole Sweatland) Lewis of Syracuse; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Allen Lewis of Kentucky; three half sisters: Sandy Jerrell, Diane Jerrell and Tammy Jerrell, all of Kentucky; and five half brothers: Arnold, Warren, Andy, Joe and Ken Jerrell, all of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Zelda Lewis.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
No services will be held at this time. Private family burial will take place in Kentucky.
