Ronald ‘Ron’ Fisher

Ronald “Ron” Fisher, 55, of Milford, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.  

He was born on Aug. 30, 1963, in Goshen, to Keith D. and Martha “Myrt” Elliott Russell. On May 24, 1986, he married Mary Ann Schrader; she survives.

Ron worked in the RV industry for many years prior to opening his own business, Ron’s Well Service Inc. He was an amateur photographer and enjoyed learning to make his pottery.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was playing cards, listening to music, watching movies or playing a round of disc golf. He was a man who fought his illness with a determination to beat it.

Ron was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend who is surely going to be missed.

Ron is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann; and two children, Monica (husband Gurpreet “Sunny”) Singh of Milford and Bryan Fisher of Fort Sill, Okla. Also surviving are his mother, Myrt Russell of Milford; two brothers, Craig (wife Jen) Fisher of Nappanee and Steven (wife Lora) Fisher of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A funeral celebrating Ron’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W. 900 N., Milford. Pastor Jack Barthel will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. prior to the service on Friday.

Arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services, Warsaw.
