COLUMBIA CITY – Robin L. Ropp, 45, Larwill, passed away at 12:31 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at her home.
Born March 29, 1973, in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Roy L. Smith and Kay L. Lahm Smith.
She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1991. She furthered her education at Indiana University in business administration and in nursing through Indiana Wesleyan.
On Aug. 11, 1999, she married Jay Ropp.
Robin had been an office manager for Mike “Red” Rethlake and managed her family rental properties, Bridgeways. She was a member of Columbia City First Church of God and Brookside Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Ropp; twin children, Sarah Ropp and Tucker Ropp, both of Larwill; parents, Roy and Kay Lahm Smith, Larwill; sister, Dawn (Michael) Shaw; brothers, Eric (Nicole) Smith and Lance (Sheila) Smith; brother-in-Law, Jon (Dawn) Ropp; sister-in-law, Cheri Ropp; father- and mother-in-law, Richard "Duke" and Rita Ropp; and close friends, Ronda and Aaron McClure and Sean and Christa Martin.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Johnny McCallister of First Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Nolt Cemetery.
