NORTH MANCHESTER — Robie Bradley, 89, Liberty Mills, died at 7:37 a.m. April 2, 2018, in his residence.
He was born March 26, 1929, in Prater Fork, Floyd County, Ky., to Richard and Viola Howard Bradley.
He served in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves for seven years.
He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, New York Central Railroad and Nickel Plate Railroad for 20-plus years.
Robie enjoyed watching old westerns, but his passion and love were for his family.
Survivors include two sons, Mike (Laura) Bradley, Liberty Mills, and Ernie (Janice) Bradley, North Manchester; two daughters, Linda (Ollie) Marshall, Claypool, and Yvonne (Alan) Lantz, Bluffton; two brothers, Hub (Sharon) Bradley, North Manchester, and Norval Bradley, California; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patsy Dale; three brothers: Aaron, Jess and Ernest; and a sister, Cleo Price.
Robie’s funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester. The Rev. William Whitaker will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the mortuary.
