Robert Kim "Bob" Seiffert, 56, of Warsaw, died at 12:30 a.m. Jan. 16, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 25, 1953, in Warsaw, to Eugene and Mary Jane Burns Seiffert. On Aug. 9, 1972, in Warsaw, he married Jean E. Starner, who survives.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he was a salesman for Warsaw Automotive (NAPA) for the past 36 years. He loved his job and was salesman of the year for two consecutive years. He could be heard doing their radio commercials on WRSW. He was a 1971 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He loved music and was member of the 1970s and 1980s band, Soundmasters, where he played the rhythm guitar with his brother, Bill, on bass guitar. The band played locally as well as for fundraisers, one of which was for Cardinal Center. He enjoyed playing his guitar at family functions throughout the year. He was a big joke teller, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, loved animals and was a good Wolfman Jack imitator.
Also surviving are a daughter, Carrie Anne (and spouse Ed) Moniak, Cromwell; a brother, William "Bill" (and spouse Connie) Seiffert, Warsaw; a sister, Jennifer Seiffert, Warsaw; and a half sister, Teresa (and spouse Todd) Shepherd, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Kristoffer Seiffert, who died Sept. 12, 1977; his father, Eugene Seiffert; and his mother, Mary Jane Seiffert.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Toni Carmer of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
