BOURBON – Robert E. Krick, 91, Plymouth, and formerly of Bourbon, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 18, 2014, at his residence. He was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Bourbon, to John H. and Dora E. Bowman Krick. On Dec. 8, 1945, he married Maxine Marie Tusing, who died Feb. 10, 1991. He then married Norma Gale Bates, who preceded him in death. He had been a resident of Bourbon, Kokomo and Plymouth. He was a faithful member of Gospel Light Mission Church, Kokomo. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from January 1946 through January 1949. He is survived by his son, Jerry (and spouse Mary) Krick, Plymouth; four daughters: Judy (and spouse Val) Metzger, Warsaw; Sherri (and spouse Deane) Leeper, Plymouth; and Tammy Grubbs, Bremen; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Joshua; three sisters: Marie, Dorothy and Nettie; and four brothers: Ernest, Earl, Claude and John. Graveside services with military honors will be after calling Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Terry Russell, Gospel Light Mission Church of Kokomo, officiating.
