Rita K. Kimberlin, 54, Warsaw, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 9, 1963, in Lawrence County, Ky., to Ray and Ida Jackson Kimberlin. In June 1996 she started a relationship with Tom Hopkins that continued until her passing.
After her education at Warsaw Community High School she worked for Creighton Brothers and Ristance of Mentone. She also was assistant manager at the Victory Hotel.
She enjoyed reading her pocket New Testament, shopping, cleaning, going for walks, watching comedies, and her morning coffee. In warmer weather she enjoyed going for a cruise with Tom looking at decorations, especially in the fall.
Survivors include her companion, Tom Hopkins, Warsaw; two sons, Alexander Bruner, North Manchester, and Jonathan Kimberlin; two granddaughters; four sisters; and a brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Cook’s Chapel Church, 4567 W. 100 S. Warsaw. Pastor Earl Futch will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home, Mentone.
