SYRACUSE – Richard L. Curtis, 71, Syracuse, passed away at 2:47 p.m. Jan. 23, 2016, at I.U. Goshen Hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1944, in Elkhart, to Kenneth E. and Esther L. Pippen Curtis. He graduated from high school in Georgia, moved to the Syracuse area 20 years ago from Chicago, and formerly lived in Atlanta, Ga.; Kansas City, Mo.; and Connecticut. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse Surviving is a brother, Robert A. (and spouse Leah) Curtis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse, with Pastor David Henry of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
