ROCHESTER - The Rev. Walter W. Kronberg, 81, of Wolf's Point Drive, Rochester, died Sept. 16, 2009, in Suceava, Romania, while ministering for the Lord.
He was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Springfield, Ill., to John Carl and Wilhelmina Kronberg. On April 4, 1949, in Paola, Kan., he married Edith E. Parks Kronberg, who survives.
He was an evangelist.
Also surviving are three daughters: Cindy (and spouse the Rev. Dean) Pennington, New Berlin, Wis.; Linda (and spouse Johne) Smith, Rochester; and Karen (and spouse Brian) Hawk, Albion; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Emma (and spouse Reynold) Morgan, Scranton, Pa. He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at 1st Assembly of God Church, Rochester, with the Rev. Donald Gifford officiating.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at the church.
The Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
