The Rev. Arnold R. Kriegbaum, 95, went to be with his Lord June 27, 2009, in his daughter's residence in Fishers.
He was born to George N. and Ethel Shank Kriegbaum. He was married 67 years to Laura E. Miller, who died in 2007.
His academic degrees include a bachelor's degree from Ashland College and a master's of divinity from Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake. He served as minister in Filmore, Calif., and Waterloo, Iowa, and minister and charter member of the Grace Brethren Churches, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Ocala, Fla. From 1953-61 he served as the editor of the Brethren Missionary Herald magazine and as dean of students at Grace College from 1962-79.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Richard A. (and spouse Peggi) Kriegbaum, Fresno, Calif., and Dr. Ward A. (and spouse Kristin) Kriegbaum, Wheaton, Ill.; a daughter, Karen (and spouse Dr. Charles F.) Bragg, Fishers; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother.
A private service will be held. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers.
