I must confess I did stretch the truth. I continue to read the paper and I might add that I buy the paper. In fact, along that note I don't even think the paper should appear online without a paid e-subscription. There are people that feed their families by those us of who do pay to read it.
The letter wasn't really meant for the publisher or editor. It was meant for those letter writers. A good point of view is exactly that, a good point of view. State it, let others read it, then let it go.
I merely suggest to those who submit letters that they learn respect. You don't have to agree with others that have different views. You can submit your thoughts and bite your tongue.
I might add I have a president. Whether I voted for him or not is not the point. He is my president and I pray for him to make the best decisions that he can for our country. I wonder if everyone could just somewhat agree with that.
Oh, I am not a Ms. I am a mister. I don't claim to know more than anyone else, but I do have some sense of respect.
