Thank you, Hal Richard, for your response to my letter about pot. You made my statement, "I told you so," already ring true. Could not have said it better. Let's repeat our mistakes.
How many of you would leave your child with a babysitter who is high on pot? How many of you would let a doctor operate on your child if he were high on pot? How many of you would let your child get on a school bus with a bus driver high on pot?
Guess what? All those things have occurred without parents' knowledge with alcohol and will also with pot if made legal.
Pot is addictive to anyone with addictive personalities, so let's get that myth out of the way. If you are someone who does not care or are already regular pot users, nothing anyone says about the negatives aspects of pot will matter to you. Let's stop getting America "high."
