Raymond Gerald Maurer, 85, of Winona Lake, died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at his residence.
He was born March 10, 1933, in Altoona, Pa., to Raymond Gerald Maurer Sr. and Elsie Grace Sipes Goldberg, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Louis Goldberg. On June 2, 1956, he was married to Carol Margaret Sell, who survives.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, with calling one hour prior, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
