• 7:40 a.m. Monday - Devon Pete Poe, 30, homeless, arrested for failure to appear - misdemeanor. Bond: $767.

• 7:50 a.m. Monday - Dana Mishelle Miller, 30, of 207 N. Maple St., Akron, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor and possession of meth more than 28 grams. Bond; $10,250.

• 11:06 a.m. Monday - Allen Wade Cooley Sr., 30, Wolcottville, arrested for probation violation - felony. Bond: $3,000.

• 2:21 p.m. Monday - Johnnie F. Howard, 33, of 72833 CR 29, #5, Syracuse, arrested on a warrant for an Indiana agency. No bond set.

• 3 p.m. Monday - Jordan Edward Stone, 25, of 4159 N. CR 100E, Warsaw, arrested for failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $500.

• 3:07 p.m. Monday - Johnny Gomez, 52, of 3762 W. Old 30, #618, Warsaw, arrested on three counts of failure to pay. Bond: $524.50.

• 3:39 p.m. Monday - Joseph Santana Gomez, 18, of 3762 W. Old 30, #618, Warsaw, arrested on two counts of failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor. No bond set.

• 3:38 p.m. Monday - Alicia Sue Greene, 35, of 301 E. Main St., Mentone, arrested for disorderly conduct - fight. Bond: $400.

• 4:17 p.m. Monday - Amber Rae Zollinger, 34, of 207 E. Pittsburgh St., Syracuse, arrested for fraud on a financial institution. Bond: $2,750.

• 7:57 p.m. Monday - Reece Barret, 26, Bristol, arrested on a warrant for an Indiana agency and false informing. Bond: $600.





• 10:19 p.m. Monday - Joseph Mwaura Waithira, 37, of 3932 E. Old 30, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury. Bond; $10,250.

• 11:02 p.m. Monday - Bryce Patrick Conwell, 24, of 2611 S. CR 550W, Warsaw, arrested for failure to comply. No bond set.

• 12:15 a.m. today - Ronald Lee Strieby, 69, of 8878 N. CR 500E, Syracuse, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.



Personal Injury Accidents

• 6:49 a.m. Friday - Intersection of East CR 600S and South CR 400E, Pierceton. Commercial truck-pickup collision. Drivers: Christopher Dutkiewicz, 27, Bryan, Ohio; Trenton A. Wuchter, 29, East CR 725S, Warsaw. Injuries: Dutkiewicz complained of pain to the head and was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne; Max A. Swoveland, 44, Auburn, a passenger in Dutkiewicz truck, complained of pain to the entire body and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital; Wuchter complained of pain to his right hand and right knee but refused medical attention. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 2:19 p.m. Friday - North Ind. 13, 500 feet south of EMS B21 Lane, North Webster. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Karl E. Mavis, 30, North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw; Pashma L. Morseau, 23, North CR 400W, Milford; Charles L. Marshall, 70, East CR 550N, Leesburg. Injuries: Mavis had multiple minor cuts and blood on his body but refused treatment. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. KCSD.

• 2:28 p.m. Friday - Intersection of North Colfax and East Sheridan streets, Warsaw. SUV-motorcycle collision. Drivers: Jerald J. Womack, 56, Hepler Drive, Warsaw; Markinia A. Gooden, 35, North Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Injury: Gooden suffered an injury to the shoulder and upper arm and was taken to KCH. Womack had a suspended driver’s license. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 4:25 p.m. Friday - Intersection of U.S. 30 and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Jeffrey M. Embury, 46, Columbia City; Lindsey A. Harness, 21, Craigville. Injury: Embury complained of minor bleeding to the eye; Harness complained of pain to the neck; Tyler Embury, 15, Columbia City, a passenger, had minor bleeding to the lower arm; Walker L. Hatler Mullins, 23, Bluffton, a passenger, complained of pain to the head; all injured were taken to Parkview Hospital in Warsaw for treatment. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 10:45 a.m. Sunday - North Park Avenue, 75 feet south of Glessner Street, Warsaw. Van hit bicycle. Driver: Angela K. Smith, 51, Greene Drive, Warsaw. Injury: Bicyclist Friday Graham, 8, Hitzler Street, Warsaw, complained of pain to his entire body and had road rash and was taken by EMS to Parkview Hospital in Warsaw. Damage: $750-$1,000. WPD.

• 11:43 a.m. Friday - West Railroad Avenue, 30 feet south of North Main Street, Syracuse. Van-pickup collision. Drivers: James Carl Pitstick, 81, Banks, Ore.; Bradley A. Stouder, 77, Lawrenceburg. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 10 p.m. Friday - 644 N. Colfax St., Warsaw. SUV hit porch post support belonging to Willow Park Apartments, North Colfax Street, Warsaw. Driver: Robert R. Dew, 65, North Colfax Street, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 4:55 p.m. Saturday - Intersection of East U.S. 30 and Ind. 13, Pierceton. Two-car collision. Drivers: Pwe S. Roh, 25, Fort Wayne; Fernando Gonzalez, 32, Westerville, Ohio. Gonzales was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 11:48 a.m. Sunday - Intersection of East CR 700N and North CR 300E, Leesburg. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Scott A. Snider, 58, New Paris; Kimber L. Baker, 61, EMS D24B Lane, Syracuse. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 5:55 p.m. Sunday - Intersection of U.S. 30 and East Old 30, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Pickup was pulling a trailer with a boat on it and the boat was knocked off the trailer. Drivers: Terron T. McCoy, 22, Columbia City; Jamie L. Gagnon, 30, East Ind. 14, Akron. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 7:45 p.m. Sunday - Intersection of North Ind. 13 and East CR 400N, Leesburg. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Donald M. Rothermel, 68, Mokena, Ill.; Joseph L. Halsey, 34, East CR 400N, Leesburg. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 9:07 p.m. Sunday - 1007 N. Warren St., Warsaw. Car hit parked car registered to Dominic A. Degaetano, Oriole Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Allison I. Blanchard, 27, East Center Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.

• 10:51 p.m. Sunday - Intersection of U.S. 30 and Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Timothy A. Cmar, 40, South Fosler Avenue, South Whitley; Heber M. Estrada, 39, Bartlett, Ill.. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 3:20 a.m. Monday - East Pierceton Road, 600 feet east of South CR 400E, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Justin C. Peters, 25, North Main Street, South Whitley. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 6 a.m. Monday - Intersection of East CR 1200N and North Acorn Drive, Syracuse. SUV hit deer. Driver: Carrie A. Flaugh, 28, East Duffy Drive, Syracuse. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 6:54 a.m. Monday - South CR 250E, 300 feet south of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Jacquline R. Egolf, 19, North CR 525W, Warsaw; Katie M. Van Hofwegen, 28, Wooster Road, Winona Lake; Nathan A. De La Cruz, 41, East CR 550S, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 12:07 p.m. Monday - North Detroit Street, 70 feet south of U.S. 30W, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Annette M. Stensel, 66, Rosemont Avenue, Warsaw; George Rodriguez, 61, East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 12:11 a.m. Sunday - A man reported a suicide at his residence in the 600 block of West Emeline Street, Milford. KCSD.

• 8:03 a.m. Sunday - An arrest on drug charges and for obstruction of justice was made in the 2100 block of Dubois Drive, Warsaw. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 10:45 a.m. Sunday - A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 800 block of North Park Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:27 p.m. Sunday - A lost or stolen license plate was reported in the 2800 block of South Ind. 25, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 11:50 p.m. Sunday - A man reported receiving threatening text messages from his ex-wife in the 2400 block of West CR 250S, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 1:14 a.m. Monday - A person was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence in the 2700 block of East Pierceton Road, Winona Lake. WLPD.

• 3:03 a.m. Monday - A vehicle accidentally went off the road and into a beanfield in the 5400 block of South Packerton Road, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 5:24 a.m. Monday - A woman  overdosed in the 1900 block of Sand Castle Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:06 a.m. Monday - A woman in the 2300 block of East Jefferson Street, Warsaw, reported trouble with her ex-boyfriend who was threatening suicide. WPD.

• 7:56 a.m. Monday - A person threatening or attempting suicide was reported in the 1500 block of Provident Court, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:01 a.m. Monday - A bicycle was found in the 1000 block of East Arthur Street, Warsaw. Value: $50. WPD.

• 1:56 p.m. Monday - A woman reported that while she was walking her dog, she was attacked by a teenager who was walking a pit bull in the 600 block of West Section Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 4:48 p.m. Monday - An invasion of privacy was reported in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD.

• 8:36 p.m. Monday - A female juvenile was reported being incorrigible in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

• 9:48 p.m. Monday - A welfare check was conducted in the 600 block of North Parker Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:15 p.m. Monday - A traffic stop occurred in the 100 block of East CR 900N, Leesburg. A man was arrested for resisting law enforcement with the use of a vehicle, and fleeing, and reckless driving. WPD.

• 10:38 p.m. Monday - A woman’s stolen purse was recovered in the 700 block of East Lake View Road, Syracuse. Value: $100. SPD.
