County Jail Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 12:17 p.m. Friday – Paul David Goldsworthy, 23, of 9736 N. Hiawatha Lane, Syracuse, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16. Bond: $5,250.

• 12:44 p.m. Friday – Brent Michael Judy, 25, of 2651 W. Ind. 14, North Manchester, arrested for dealing meth. No bond listed.

• 2:15 p.m. Friday – Nichole Rae Pearson, 28, of 3340 E. Old Colony Road, Warsaw, arrested for aiding, inducing or causing a crime. Bond: $5,250.

Property Damage Accidents

• 12:03 p.m. Thursday – 308 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Pickup truck backed into a parked car registered to Scottie L. Keaffaber, CR 133, Syracuse. Driver: Cindy L: Raspeller, 58, Mount Vernon, N.H. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 9:44 p.m. Thursday – West CR 1350N, 1,000 feet east of North CR 750W, Nappanee. Two cars sideswiped each other. Drivers: Justin R. Sizemore, 17, North CR 825E, Syracuse; Jacob B. Truman, 25, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.





• 9:58 p.m. Thursday – Ind. 25, 32 feet west of West Shilling Road, Mentone. Pickup struck deer. Driver: Jon S. Whittenberger, 53, West CR 600S. Mentone. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 10:36 p.m. Thursday – West CR 525S, east of South CR 450W, Warsaw. SUV struck deer. Driver: James M. Smith, 37, North CR 400E, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 6:26 a.m. Friday – East CR 225S, 1,000 feet west of Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw. Rear-end collision during a left turn attempt. Drivers: Candi L. Kintzel, 47, South Julian Drive, Warsaw; Misty R. Dawson, 36, East CR 100S, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

Incidents

• 12:53 p.m. Thursday – Two trucks were damaged on private property in the 2700 block of Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 6:20 p.m. Thursday – A person reported a damaged mailbox at a residence in the 300 block of Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Estimated damage: $40. KCSD.

• 6:52 p.m. Thursday – A person reported the burglary of a church and a storage building in the 6800 block of S. Ind. 15, Claypool KCSD.

• 6:02 a.m. Friday – A person reported invasion of privacy and the violation of a protection order in the 1700 block of West Center Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 11:49 a.m. Friday – Incidents of shoplifting and juvenile delinquency were reported in the 700 block of Parker Street, Warsaw. WPD.
