The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 7:41 a.m. Wednesday –  Michael Darren Miller, 21, of 11314 N. East Wawasee Drive, Syracuse, arrested for possession of meth. Bond: $5,250.

• 8:08 a.m. Wednesday –  Madison Marie Stafford, 20, Walkerton, arrested for possession of meth. Bond: $5,250.

• 5:22 p.m. Wednesday –  Lauren Elizabeth Painter, 25, Greenville, Mich., arrested for failure to appear –  felony. Bond: $5,250.

• 5:23 p.m. Wednesday –  John Matthew Sloan II, 25, Greenville, Mich., arrested for failure to appear –  felony. Bond: $5,250.

• 8 p.m. Wednesday –  Charles Earl Morrison, 78, of 111 EMS T6 Lane, Leesburg, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.

• 9:24 p.m. Wednesday –  Jeffery Wayne Rhoades, 29, of 5310 N. CR 850E, North Webster, arrested for possession of marijuana – misdemeanor and possession of meth. Bond: $5,250.

• 9:39 p.m. Wednesday –  Alexzandrea Yvonne Tefft, 24, Elkhart, arrested for possession of meth and possession of marijuana – misdemeanor. Bond: $5,250.

• 10:21 p.m. Wednesday –  Austin DL Esterline, 31, Columbia City, arrested for failure to appear –  felony. No bond set.

• 10:42 p.m. Wednesday –  Matthew Gene Rhines, 28, of 513 N. Broadway St., Mentone, arrested for possession of marijuana –  misdemeanor. Bond: $600.



Property Damage Accidents

• 1:51 p.m. Tuesday –  Intersection of U.S. 30 and Old 30, Warsaw. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Junior J. Green, 87, East Old 30, Warsaw; Evan Congleton, 28, Hicksville, Ohio. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 3:08 p.m. Tuesday –  Ind. 15, 34 feet north of East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Bryan G. Cerda, 17, East CR 200N, Warsaw; Caleb T. Beam, 17, Peach Tree Lane, Winona Lake. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 6:52 a.m. Wednesday –  South CR 275E, 2,500 feet north of East CR 400S, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: David L. Jackson, 57, South CR 600W, Silver Lake. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated.

• 4:02 p.m. Wednesday –  North Ind. 13, 35 feet north of East Washington Street, North Webster. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Stanley H. Brady, 62, Rome City; Shari J. Upchurch, 51, North Goodison Road, North Webster; Julia A. Shepherd-Gibbons, 55, EMS B20B Lane, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. North Webster Police Department investigated.



Incidents

• 11:45 a.m. Monday – A person in the 200 block of West Main Street, Warsaw, reported a lost money order was cashed. KCSD.

• 4:08 p.m. Tuesday – Officers assisted with the service of a Cook County, Ill., protective order and the removal of custody of three children in the 1500 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 6:34 a.m. Wednesday – A person reported two people were sleeping in a vehicle at Circle K gas station in the 600 block of North Main Street, North Webster. Suspects were found to be in possession of drugs and were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail. NWPD.

• 10 a.m. Wednesday – An employee of Warsaw Foundry in the 1200 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw, reported he was threatened while escorting a former employee off the property. WPD.

• 2:32 p.m. Wednesday – An unresponsive person was reported in the 3600 block of North CR 175E, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 7:54 p.m. Wednesday – A person reported a bomb threat in the 1800 block of La Vista Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 9:39 p.m. Wednesday – A person reported a stray cat bit another person in the 700 block of West Jefferson Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 12:40 a.m. today – A domestic battery with serious bodily injury was reported in the 400 block of South Indiana Street, Warsaw. WPD.
