County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 9:27 a.m. Wednesday – Angela Sue Jaynes, 47, of 1746 S. Main Lane, Pierceton, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
- 2:21 p.m. Wednesday – Dakota Marcus Meade, 19, of 9500 E. Ponderosa Drive, North Webster, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 4:52 p.m. Wednesday – Thomas Lee Morehead, 68, of 8492 N. Ind. 15, Milford, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Bond: $750.
- 6 p.m. Wednesday – Leticia Vega Sanchez, 29, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, arrested for driving without a license. Bond: $300.
- 2:35 a.m. today – Cory Matthew Floyd, 31, Wabash, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $500.

Personal Injury Accident
- 10:37 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of U.S. 30E and CR 325E, Warsaw. Van hit guard rail. Driver: Louis E. Schoenherr, 50, Blairsville, Ga. Injuries: Schoenherr suffered a chest bruise; Roberta Schoenherr, 71, Orem, Utah, complained of chest pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

Property Damage Accidents
- 7:31 a.m. Wednesday – 9786 Ind. 15, Silver Lake. Pickup went off road. Driver: Jonathan S. Sledge, 29, Columbia City. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.
- 6:20 p.m. Wednesday – Ind. 19N, 200 feet south of CR 900S, Nappanee. Combination vehicle-pickup collision. Drivers: James A. Hibbard, 54, Sturgis, Mich.; Newell E. Clark, 49, NorthWood Drive, Nappanee. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

- Saturday – A Channel Marker employee, East Pickwick Road, Syracuse, reported a burglary to a shed. KCSD.
- Monday – A Claypool man reported a theft. KCSD.
- Monday – A Claypool man reported the theft of tools. KCSD.
- Monday – A Claypool woman reported the theft of items from a vehicle. KCSD.
- 8 p.m. Monday – A Leesburg woman reported an attempted break-in. KCSD.
- 8:10 p.m. Monday – A Syracuse woman reported being harassed. KCSD.
- 8 p.m. Tuesday – A Warsaw woman reported having her tires slashed. KCSD.
- 10:32 a.m. Wednesday – A Comfort Inn employee, 3328 E. Kosciusko Drive, Warsaw, reported the theft of two televisions. Loss: $800. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
- 1:42 p.m. Wednesday – A Warsaw woman reported being battered. WPD.
- 9 p.m. Wednesday – A New York, N.Y., woman reported an identity theft. KCSD.
