County Jail Bookings
The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

- 9:25 a.m. Wednesday – Andrea Lee Smith, 30, of 9070 S. Dale Lane, Claypool, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $25.
- 4:42 p.m. Wednesday – Mary Jean Smith, 51, of 8166 E. North Road, Syracuse, arrested for theft. Bond: $2,000.
- 4:54 p.m. Wednesday – Tyson James Montague, 21, of 434 S. Harding St., Warsaw, arrested for dealing a controlled substance. Bond: $10,000.
- 5:16 p.m. Wednesday – Lloyd Allen Slabaugh Jr., 22, of 71915 CR 3, Nappanee, arrested for sexual misconduct. Bond: $5,000.
- 7:29 p.m. Wednesday – Francisco Javier Esparza, Columbus, Ohio, arrested for failure to appear, dealing cocaine and arrested on a warrant from another agency. Bond: $10,000.
- 8:14 p.m. Wednesday – Curtis Brandt DeTurk, 18, of 425 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
- 9:02 p.m. Wednesday – Alexander Vlademer Leo, 18, of 813. S. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $1,000.
- 10:06 p.m. Wednesday – Nathan Alan Ghrist, 30, of 920 Anchorage Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $500.
- 11:09 p.m. Wednesday – Jordan Curtis Gregory, 21, of 7605 W. Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw, arrested for conversion. No bond set.
- 1:26 a.m. today – Cory Nathaniel Morgan, 20, of 504 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, arrested for strangulation. Bond: $2,500.

Personal Injury Accident
- 6:30 p.m. Tuesday – Patterson Road,60 feet north of Normandy Drive, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Anna Damron, 33, North Walnut Street, Etna Green; Judith L. Powell, 53, Old Farm Road, Warsaw. Injury: Powell complained of neck pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Property Damage Accident
- 6:22 p.m. Tuesday – CR 200S, 200 feet east of County Farm Road, Warsaw. SUV hit fence. Driver: Andrew H. Thrasher, 17, South Woodfield Trail, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

Incidents
- 7:48 p.m. Monday – A Warsaw woman reported an attempted burglary to her residence at Whispering Pines. KCSD.
- 9:41 a.m. Wednesday – A Leesburg woman reported a theft from her vehicle. WPD.
- 1:53 p.m. Wednesday – A Walmart employee, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw, reported the theft of $100. WPD.
