• 10:39 a.m. Tuesday - Kevin Frank Gilmore, 36, Elkhart, arrested for inducing and/or aiding counterfeiting. Bond: $5,250.

• 12:08 p.m. Tuesday - David Justin Roper, 36, of 123 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor. No bond set.

• 12:26 p.m. Tuesday - Merne Marie Calland, 49, Ligonier, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor. No bond set.

• 5:03 p.m. Tuesday - Damonte Latorensene Phillips, 18, of 1202 E. Center St., A, Warsaw, arrested on three counts of failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. No bond set.

• 6:04 p.m. Tuesday - Matthew Robert Thomas, 36, of 1072 E. Wellington Drive, Warsaw, arrested for child seduction - fondling. Bond: $5,250.

• 6:07 p.m. Tuesday - Mark Edward Blankenship, 48, of 509 W. Elm St., Pierceton, arrested for interfering with a drug/alcohol screen test. Bond: $450.

• 6:56 p.m. Tuesday - Christopher Allen Brewster, 46, homeless, Warsaw, arrested on a warrant for an Indiana agency. No bond listed

• 7:11 p.m. Tuesday - Cary Duane Walls, 45, of 1906 Sand Castle Drive, B, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth. Bond: $5,250.

• 7:35 p.m. Tuesday - Arista Ann Butcher, 26, of 4031 N. Old Port Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of a narcotic, two counts of possession of a syringe for a legend drug and on a warrant for an Indiana agency. Bond: $5,250.

• 7:51 p.m. Tuesday - Leyon Joseph Gilliam Jr., 26, of 206 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, arrested for strangulation and failure to appear - original charge felony. No bond set.

• 10:45 p.m. Tuesday - Robert Vern Bartman, 48, of 201 W. Allen St., Syracuse, arrested on three counts of failure to pay. Bond: $1,138.50.



Personal Injury Accident

• 6:39 a.m. Monday - Intersection of West U.S. 30 and North CR 350W, Warsaw. Semi-tractor trailer and car collision. Drivers: Piotr A. Lubecki, 45, Wheatfield; Kristopher R. Reed, 40, North Judson. Injuries: Reed was pronounced dead at the scene. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 8:12 am. Monday - Ind. 13, 100 feet north of Executive Boulevard, Syracuse. SUV hit deer. Driver: Pamela S. Maynard, 55, North Ind. 13, Syracuse. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 4:54 a.m. Tuesday - South Ind. 19, 50 feet south of West CR 500S, Mentone. SUV hit deer. Driver: Rafael Arroyo, 51, Village Lane, Akron. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSD.

• 6:44 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of East CR 400S and South CR 400E, Pierceton. Car slid and hit Kosciusko County Highway Department guardrail. Driver: Jestina L. Schultz, 45, East CR 500S, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 7:10 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of East U.S. 30 and East Van Ness Road, Pierceton. SUV hit deer. Driver: John W. Tharp, 30, South Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.

• 7:13 a.m. Tuesday - South Ind. 13, 400 feet south of East CR 1250S, North Manchester. SUV hit deer. Driver: Kris N. Vancuren, 48, West Walnut Street, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 7:32 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of West Winona Avenue and South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Unknown car hit another car but failed to stop. Driver remaining: Steven E. Breeden, 52, Widaman Street, Winona Lake. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 8:38 a.m. Tuesday - Ind. 13, 30 feet south of mile marker 5295S, Pierceton. Two-car collision. Drivers: Lawrence P. Flanagan, 18, Fort Wayne; Jonathan W. Kirby, 19, Greencastle. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Pierceton Police Department investigated.

• 12:24 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of West CR 200S and South Ind. 15, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Alisha M. Sallee, 30, South High Street, Silver Lake; Daniel J. Kierpaul, 62, North CR 700W, Warsaw. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSD.

• 3:54 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Ind. 15 and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Two-SUV collision. Drivers: Nancy S. Amiss, 81, Mary Mac Drive, Warsaw; Kevin T. Stone, 53, Harmony Court, Winona Lake. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 4:31 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Ranch Road and Ind. 15, Warsaw. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Stanley E. Kilmer, 67, West Catherine Street, Milford; Rosario Herendeen, 49, South Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 2:33 p.m. Monday - In the 300 block of EMS D15 Lane, Syracuse, an officer pursued a motocross bike without any registration but was unable to catch the bike. KCSD.

• 2:33 p.m. Monday - An accident involving a semi and a horse and buggy was reported in the 8800 block of North Ind. 19, Etna Green. KCSD.

• 4:18 p.m. Monday - A woman reported a son was out of control and tearing up the house in the 300 block of East Williams Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 10:37 p.m. Monday - A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block of North Main Street, North Webster. The man was arrested for possession of meth and on two warrants and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 12:37 a.m. Tuesday - An officer saw a man walking down the middle of the road in the 200 block of North East Street. The man was arrested on a warrant out of Elkhart County. MPD.

• 7:32 a.m. Tuesday - A hit-skip accident was reported in the 300 block of West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:40 a.m. Tuesday - A person was arrested in the 100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, on a warrant for failure to appear for public intoxication. WPD.

• 2:25 p.m. Tuesday - A woman reported a property damage accident that occurred the day before in the 11900 block of North Robin Hood Road, Cromwell. KCSD

• 4:04 p.m. Tuesday - An attempted burglary to Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church in the 400 block of West Market Street, Warsaw, was reported. WPD.

• 4:14 p.m. Tuesday - A man in the 1200 block of East Center Street, Warsaw, was arrested on warrants. WPD.

• 5:30 p.m. Tuesday - A man was arrested for interfering with a drug screening in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:03 p.m. Tuesday - A person in the 300 block of West CR 350N, Warsaw, was found to have a warrant out for their arrest and was taken into custody. WPD.

• 6:37 p.m. Tuesday - A woman in the 700 block of North Lake Street, Warsaw, was arrested on a warrant. WPD.

• 9:58 p.m. Tuesday - A runaway juvenile was reported in the 300 block of South Lake Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 11:09 p.m. Tuesday - A trash can fire was reported in the 500 block of West Perry Street, Warsaw. WPD.
