The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 2 a.m. Tuesday - Stephen D. Hand, 33, of 2257 S. Southwood Drive, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Bond: $5,250.

• 6:27 a.m. Tuesday - Jared Lee Thomas, 28, Wolcottville, arrested on a warrant for an Indiana agency. No bond listed.

• 10:28 a.m. Tuesday - Michael Henery Sajdak, 48, Auburn, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor. Bond: $100.

• 12:03 p.m. Tuesday - Bernice Fields, 49, of 109 E. Baltimore St., #2, Syracuse, arrested for dealing a narcotic. Bond: $10,250.

• 2:38 p.m. Tuesday - Brian Lee Lett, 35, of 325 E. Sixth St., Rochester, arrested for failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $500.

• 3:52 p.m. Tuesday - Kyle Richard Spaulding, 31, of 3750 Lake City Hwy., #8, Warsaw, arrested for battery on law enforcement. Bond: $5,250.

• 9:48 p.m. Tuesday - John Stuart Rogers, 58, of 102 W. Noah St., Claypool, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 11:44 p.m. Tuesday - Todd Henry Shumaker, 33, of 712 South Side Drive, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth enhanced and less than 5 grams, possession of paraphernalia - misdemeanor and driving while suspended with a prior. Bond: $10,250.



Personal Injury Accident

• 8:10 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of West Winona Avenue and South Lake Street, Warsaw. Two-pickup collision. Drivers: Dewayne E. Busz, 69, South Lake Street, Warsaw; Arthur E. Clark, 63, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Injuries: Busz complained of pain to the knee and lower leg and was evaluated at the scene by medics but declined further medical treatment; Deborah S. Clark, 53, Frontage Road, Warsaw, a passenger in Arthur Clark’s pickup, had minor bleeding to the head and complained of pain to the neck and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.



Property Damage Accidents

• 3:40 p.m. Monday - Intersection of Dubois Drive and Provident Drive, Warsaw. Car ran over curbed barrier and over a road sign. Driver: Judy Longenecker, 69, Elkhart. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 1:15 a.m. Tuesday - U.S. 30, 300 feet west of Ind. 15, Warsaw. Car hit a spare tire that was in the road. Driver: Dennis Latty, 47, Springville, Ala. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 5:54 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of East Old 30 and South Brallier Road, Pierceton. Car hit deer. Driver: David R. Lawson, 65, Albion. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 11:18 a.m. Tuesday - North CR 150W, 2,200 feet south of West CR 500N, Warsaw. Pickup hit deer. Driver: Keith A. Beer, 59, East CR 1050N, Milford. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.



Incidents

• 5:07 p.m. Monday - A person was arrested on a warrant in the 700 block of West Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:01 p.m. Monday - Officers were dispatched to a disagreement between neighbors over stray animals in the 3000 block of South CR 350E, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 12:39 a.m. Tuesday - A person was arrested for possession of meth and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence in the 2100 block of South Packerton Road, Winona Lake. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 3:46 p.m. Tuesday - A traffic stop occurred in the 100 block of South Indiana Street, Warsaw, and a person was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and meth and driving while suspended with a prior. WPD.

• 3:59 p.m. Tuesday - An employee of Norris Arms in the 400 block of North Old 15, Milford, reported a delivery of a firearm left at the door after business hours on Monday was stolen. Value: $450. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 8:31 p.m. Tuesday - A woman in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, reported a violation of a protective order. WPD.
