The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 4:38 p.m. Thursday – Nathan A. Taylor, 33, of 142 Downy Drive, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 10:28 p.m. Thursday – Michael A. Miller II, 45, of 64 EMS W26 Lane, North Webster, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear and on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $900.

• 10:36 p.m. Thursday – Tylynn G. Watkins, 48, of 64 EMS W26 Lane, North Webster, arrested for two misdemeanor failure to appear charges. Bond: $589.

• 11:01 p.m. Thursday – Shelby O. Kelly, 29, of 1715 Vandeveer St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while being a habitual traffic violator. Bond: $5,250.

• 2:12 a.m. Friday – Eduardo Gutierrez, 19, of 3521 Lake City Highway, #209, Warsaw, arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. Bond: $400.

• 10:02 a.m. Friday – Steven J. Walsh, 23, homeless, arrested for misdemeanor probation violation. No bond set.

• 12:58 p.m. Friday – Grant M. Bibler, 18, of 15 Trailside Drive, Winona Lake, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 5:13 p.m. Thursday – 2124 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Car hit pedestrian. Driver: Braxton A. Goldsmith, 19, Second Street, Winona Lake. Pedestrian: Elsie K. Foote, 28, Kokomo. Injury: Foote’s left knee, lower leg and foot were mangled and she was taken by ambulance to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne; Goldsmith was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a blood draw. Damage: $50,000-$100,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 8:03 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of East U.S. 30 and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Raymundo P. Flores, 47, Mexico; Debra Hayes, 57, Perryville, Ky. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 7:30 a.m. Friday – Intersection of East Smith Street and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Pickup-SUV collision. Drivers: Abie T. Stump, 34, South CR 1275E, Akron; Rhonda L. White, 52, South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 9:17 a.m. Friday – East CR 700S, 1,000 feet west of South CR 300E, Claypool. SUV hit deer. Driver: Natalie I. Francis, 36, North Hickory Street, Claypool. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 12:27 a.m. Thursday – A man was arrested in the 12100 block of North Beau Peep Lane, Cromwell, for domestic battery. KCSO.

• 3:17 a.m. Thursday – A woman reported $900 worth of firearms were stolen in the 3900 block of East CR 300N, Warsaw. KCSO.

• 10:20 a.m. Thursday – A woman told police her window was shot with a BB gun in the 2700 block of East Lilly Court, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000. KCSO.

• noon Thursday – A man reported a snow blower was stolen in the 8100 block of South Ind. 13, Pierceton. Value: $100. KCSO.

• 9:44 p.m. Thursday – A warrant was requested for the arrest of an individual after police responded to a family fight at Jellystone Campground in the 1900 block of North CR 850E, Pierceton. KCSO.

• 9:56 p.m. Thursday – A man was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1900 block of West U.S. 30, Warsaw, for operating a vehicle while being a habitual traffic violator. WPD.

• 12:14 a.m. Friday – A woman reported her son missing in the 11500 block of North Sleeping Beauty Lane, Cromwell. KCSO.

• 1:27 a.m. Friday – A minor was arrested for possession of alcohol in the 2400 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.
