Plenty Of Spooky Events On Tap This Weekend

While Halloween isn’t until Tuesday, there are plenty of “spooktacular” events taking place this weekend.

Here is a listing of those activities:

Fri., Oct. 27

• 2017 Downtown Warsaw Spooktakular, registration at 5:30 p.m., trick-or-treat from 6 to 7 p.m. and costume contest at 7 p.m. Sponsored by the Warsaw Community Development Corporation.

• Grace College, 28th annual FunFest, 6 to 9 p.m., Gordon Recreation Center, 100 Publishers Drive, Winona Lake. Free.

• Warsaw Meadows, 300 E. Prairie St., Warsaw, community trick-or-treat, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• Lions Club hosting The A-Maz-ing Haunted House at North Webster Lions Fairgrounds, 410 W. Washington St., from 7 to 10 p.m.

• Etna Green Lions Club, hayride and hot dogs night, 6:30 p.m., free.

• Free fall carnival, 6 to 8 p.m., Syracuse Community Center.

• Wagon Wheel Junior presents “I Want My Mummy Returns!”, 2 p.m., includes the Not-So-Haunted-House in the Wagon Wheel Theatre lobby before each show, kids and adults welcome to dress up for the shows, tickets available through the box office, at www.wagonwheelcenter.org or by calling 574-372-8041.

• Trick-or-treat, 5 to 7 p.m., Bourbon.

• 6 to 7:30 p.m., Silver Lake. Celebration Harvest is 6 to 7 p.m. at Silver Lake Station #2, 104 N. Jefferson St.

• Trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m., Claypool.

• Trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m., Etna Green.

• Trick-or-treat, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Leesburg.

• Trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m., Milford.

• Trick-or-treat, 5 to 8 p.m., North Manchester.

• Trick-or-treat, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Pierceton.

• Trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m., Syracuse.

Mentone Chamber of Commerce costume judging contest at 7 p.m. at Mentone Elementary School, 301 E.?Jackson St.

• The Harvest Party at the Downtown Pavilion in Nappanee is from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The costume contest starts at 7:15 p.m. and categories are ages 1 to 5, grades kindergarten to fifth grade and sixth through eighth.

Trick-or-treat and Legion trunk-or-treat is from 5 to 7 p.m.

The “spooky” shuttle starts at the Boys & Girls Club, 107 E. Marion St., and stops at the club, library and downtown pavilion.

Visit the Boys & Girls Club’s “Mad Scientist from 5 to 8 p.m.

Stop in at the library for story time, crafts, games and goodies while supplies last.

Trick-or-treating in Nappanee is Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.
