SYRACUSE – Patricia E. ”Norah” Pomroy, 64, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at her home.
She was born on May 23, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, to Paul and Martha Watson Ellis.
She graduated in 1972 from Bloomington High School in Bloomington and 1987 from St. Xavier University Nursing School in Chicago. She moved to the Syracuse area six years ago from Highland and was a registered nurse at Aseracare Hospice in Elkhart for five-plus years.
She attended the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse.
She is survived by three daughters: Dorothy (Dawn) Pomroy of Seattle, Wash.; Katherine (Damon) Pomroy of Ashville, N.C.; and Margaret (Adrian) Ballesteros of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren; a sister, Martha “Muff” (Mark) Svoboda of Ashville; and a brother, Tom (Lisa) Ellis of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
No public services will be held.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
