Patricia Ann “Pat” Cox, 66, Warsaw, passed away April 9, 2018, at 7:36 a.m. in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born May 10, 1951, in Chicago, Ill., to Erwin and Elizabeth Oliver Link. On Feb. 14, 1985, she was united in marriage to Michael D. Cox, who survives.
She was a Warsaw resident since 1971 and worked as a self-employed house cleaner since 1980. She was a member of the Winona Lake Fire Department Auxiliary and the 911 Remembrance Committee. She graduated from Thornton Fractional High School in Lansing, Ill., in 1969.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; children: Brian (Dawn) Butler, New Palestine; Brad (Bobbie) Butler, Warsaw; and Eric (Elizabeth) Cox, Bloomington. She is also survived by her brother, John (Peg) Link, Calumet City, Ill., along with her grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Ashley and Austin Butler, all of Warsaw; Dylan and Quinn Cox, both of Bloomington; and Emily Butler, New Palestine.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at noon at the funeral chapel with Ken Locke officiating. Interment will be private.
