MENTONE - Patricia Ann Mikel, 62, of 227 E. High St., Atwood, died at 1:55 p.m. Aug. 21, 2007, in her residence.
She was born Nov. 4, 1944, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Robert A. and Clara Dieble Mathews. On Feb. 8, 1964, in Etna Green, she married James Dale Mikel, who survives.
She was a homemaker and attended Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church, Etna Green.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James Joseph (Anita) Poyser, Atwood; three sons, Mathew A. (and wife Tammy) Mikel, Mentone; Mark A. Mikel, Atwood; and Ben J. (and wife Marcy) Mikel, Warsaw; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gerald (Linda) Hochstetler, Warsaw; and two brothers, Terry (and wife Jean) Burghduff, Morley, Mich., and Jerry (and wife Barb) Burghduff, Rome City. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepfather, Ray Cleveland, a sister, Lois Jean, and a brother, Bobby.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church, Etna Green, with Elder Tommy Sarber officiating. Burial will be in Wooden Cemetery (Harrison Center Cemetery), Etna Green.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
