Parent Drive

I feel I would not be doing my duty as a resident on Parent Drive (the street behind Walmart) if I didn't write about the dangerous problem existing on our street.
The problem is the continual breaking of the 25 mph speed limit on Parent Drive. Since many homes have been added and the street has been extended to the new residents north of Yellow Apartments, the traffic has greatly increased. The speeding problem is worst from 6 to 8 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. There are cars, to my judgment, are going from 40 to 50 mph.
This is a senior community and people are walking their dogs, going for walks and crossing the street for various reasons. One resident told me he was afraid he or his dog were going to be seriously injured. I would hate to see what happened on Husky Trail happen on Parent Drive!
